At Cross Creek, we believe that God’s Spirit indwells every believer and is committed to growing each of us more and more into the likeness of Christ. This spiritual growth affects our whole being as God not only gives us a greater understanding of truth but also as he transforms our character.
We believe that it is the parent’s primary responsibility to nurture their children so we seek to come alongside them in the task of passing their faith onto their children.
The Bible is the foundation and the guidebook from which we base the education and the programs of our children at Cross Creek. With this in mind, we actively seek to pass on:
- The Truth of God to our children by presenting the Bible as the revelation of who God is and what He has done throughout history. We seek to encourage in them a Christian view of the world and a growing love for God and their neighbors.
- Biblical Faith by encouraging children to trust in who God is and what He has promised; to recognize that without God they are dead in sin and to develop a daily lifestyle of repentance and faith in God through Jesus Christ.
- The Purposes of God by helping children to see the hand of God at work in their lives as well as in the entire world, and by encouraging children to recognize and use their God given abilities to benefit of the church and the culture in which they live.
